Dr. Tim Valiante serves as the Director of Haven of Grace Seminary situated on the shores of the Sulu Sea on the island of Negros (Pulupandan, Philippines). He is married to Sarah (2003) and the proud father of 5 great children. Dr. Tim has been in the ministry for the past 15 years (14 of those years he served in pastoral ministry). For the first 7 years, he ministered at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Newark, Delaware where he served as an Assistant Pastor overseeing Youth and Administration. For the past 7 years, Dr. Tim served as Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Millville, Pennsylvania before accepting the call to become the Director of Haven of Grace Seminary in 2017.
Dr. Tim received a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) in Pastoral Studies from Northland Baptist Bible College (2002), a master’s degree (summa cum laude) in Theological Studies from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary (2012) and a doctor of ministry degree (summa cum laude) from Clarks Summit University (2017).
In addition to his ministry at Haven of Grace, Dr. Tim is also an author with his first book, God Gives More Grace, set to release in the Spring of 2019 with Regular Baptist Press.
Dr. Tim has a passion to help pastors and men training for the ministry have a deeper understanding and love for the Word of God. He specializes in the fields of exegetical studies, practical theology and systematic theology. He will be teaching semester-long courses such as Hermeneutics, Greek Grammar 1 & 2, Introduction to Hebrew, Systematic Theology 1, 2, & 3, along with courses on Romans, Wisdom Literature, and others. He is grateful to invest his life in equipping and training men for Gospel ministry in the Philippines and throughout Southeast Asia.
